The secret lift, the Hidden Path, the storm-bound road, Yelough Anix, the frozen river and Ordina's candles, ending at the Apostate Derelict.

The Snowfield suits level 100 to 120, with a weapon around +20 to +24 or a somber one at +8 or +9. A storm hides the land, and there is no merchant from here to the end of the section, so spend your runes and restock first.

Throw Rainbow Stones ahead to test it, and walk across into the alcove opposite. Turn right, hit the illusory wall behind the Grave Glovewort, and open the chest.

Consecrated Snowfield · Hidden Path to the Haligtree – From the chest's alcove walk the invisible path to the alcove straight across, bearing a little left between the central pillars, then through the small room and along the next unseen path west, which slopes down. Drop to the balcony on your right, jump onto a window sill and pull the lever under the statue on the north wall. Go south down the stairs past the octopuses and along the narrow hallway to the boss door, then turn right and ride the lift in that corridor to the top, where a corpse sits in the alcove.

Consecrated Snowfield · Yelough Anix Tunnel – Follow the tunnel from the grace to the cavern and drop down the hole on the left, since the north door doesn't open from this side. Go east to the wooden walkways and down through the centre gap or by the side ladder, then walk toward the gravity portal: an Alabaster Lord steps out, with a second copy of the sword from the Lake of Rot. The corpse is at the back of that room, beside the wooden planks on the wall.

Consecrated Snowfield · Yelough Anix Tunnel – From the grace take the tunnel to the cavern, drop down the hole on the left and go east to the wooden walkways. Use the central ice platform to jump the gap to the far opening. Two more ladders and a tunnel bring you to an Onyx Lord at a gravity portal: keep west past him to the big wooden gate, with the boss through it and the shortcut back in the small door beside it.
Summary
The tunnel's boss. Its tail sweep can kill outright, so watch for the wind-up.

Black Knife SetArmor

Consecrated Snowfield · Ordina – Fast travel to the Ordina grace and loop around the outside of the town to its north side. An archway stands under the stone ramp that climbs to the sealed path, and the corpse lies beneath it. An invisible Lesser Black Knife Assassin waits nearby, and if the corpse is bare the set may be hers inside the evergaol.

Full armor set. The chest piece muffles your footsteps, which helps with the candles.

Before the evergaol

Torrent can't come in, and there's no Stake of Marika, so a death sends you back to the grace. Lit statues stay lit. Spend your runes first. The assassins inside are invisible: a Sentry's Torch shows them, their footprints show in the snow, and those you kill stay dead.

On the roof aheadThe first one you see as you arrive. Jump the balcony to the south, go on south, and at the stairs jump from the upper railing to the balcony on their left. A ladder stands beside a door there, and a second one takes you up.
East roofDo as for the roof statue, but at the first ladder turn left and drop onto the connecting archway. Jump to the roof ahead under fire from two archers, kill the nearer one with your shield up, and climb the two ladders.
West edgeTurn right from the start, jump the balcony, turn left and go round the town to the ladder at the far west. It blends into the stone.
Ground-floor shrineRun back toward where the grace was. After the first flight of stairs turn left. Expect an assassin.
Light the four Ordina candlesHidden spoiler – activate to revealQuest stepMinor spoiler
Location
Consecrated Snowfield · Ordina – From the Ordina grace climb both staircases north, turn right and follow the building round. The evergaol is at the far end, past the large staircase: enter it and light all four statues, in any order. When the last one lights you return to the start and the tall stairs are unsealed.

About this guide

Expect about 230 hours over three runs, in a game where bosses take practice. This route uses no save backups. Run 1 collects everything in the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree, and takes about 170 of those hours. NG+ (about 40) and NG++ (about 20) are shorter runs for the other two endings and the other quest branches, with tougher enemies and some bosses to beat again for remembrance trades. Random drops and free-choice NPC kills never count toward 100%.
