From the Ellac River to the blue shore of the Cerulean Coast, the Finger Ruins of Rhia, then down the Stone Coffin Fissure to the Putrescent Knight and the Garden of Deep Purple.

The Cerulean Coast is the blue shore at the far south of the Realm of Shadow, below the Ellac River. Arrive with a Scadutree Blessing around 10. Its regular enemies are lighter than those of Scadu Altus, but the field bosses and the dungeon under its southern tip are not. The river's Furnace Golem, forager and lightning lake are already done in the East Gravesite Plain section.

Location
Cerulean Coast – From the Ellac River Downstream grace drop south down the rocks until a long stone pillar crosses the waterfall on your left, then walk it east. Ride south over the low ground, past where the Furnace Golem stood, and stay on the right-hand wall. A wide gap opens onto blue flowers, and the grace is just through it.

Take each drop to the nearest ledge only, then follow the flooded tunnel west past the crabs and out onto an island. Turn north outside and climb along the wall to the highest rock: a corpse has the oil.

Cerulean Coast · Southern Nameless Mausoleum – From Cerulean Coast West ride toward the lone tree along the southern rocks to the hole, drop to the nearest ledge each time, and follow the flooded tunnel west to the island. Outside, go right along the shore, then left up the hill through blue flowers to the Southern Nameless Mausoleum. A Stake of Marika stands at its door, and Spirit Ashes can't be used inside.

Cerulean Coast · Triangular ravine – Fast travel to Cerulean Coast West, ride east around the giant tomb, then turn northeast up the stream into the triangular ravine. Pass the tombstone tower on its right, where a demi-human swordsman stands guard. A corpse at the east end of the canyon holds the sword, with demi-humans around it.

Cerulean Coast · Finger Ruins of Rhia – From the wilted tree go back toward the tomb, jump southeast to the ground below it and ride east to the cliff edge, then down to the beach. Follow the shore northeast and east across the shallows to the next beach, minding the fingers hidden in the sand. Ride up the sloping giant tomb on your left and around the right of its top: the grace is on the edge just ahead.

Cerulean Coast · Finger Ruins of Rhia – Go down the slope from the grace past the Fingercreepers until the path splits. Take the branch climbing right along the cliff, southeast into the valley: the coffin is up there.

Cerulean Coast · Southern peninsula – Fast travel to Cerulean Coast Cross, ride northwest to the tomb across the road, then follow the road southwest; a Troll on the hill throws sleep pots, so ride at an angle or lure him down. Keep south past the next tomb and up the hill until a huge hole opens in the ground. Pass it and climb to the highest cliff at the end of the peninsula: the corpse is up there, above the hole and not inside it.

Cerulean Coast · Southern peninsula – Go back to the hole's near right-hand edge, on its west side, and drop from ledge to ledge, always to the closest one. A few drops down, turn north-northwest toward a corpse, then carry on east to the stone bridge, walking onto it without a jump. Slimes wait on most ledges, so don't stop long; the grace is at the bottom.

Before you go on

The tunnel past The Fissure grace stays sealed until the Great Rune has broken, which happens on the way to Shadow Keep. Torrent can't be called inside, and many of the enemies build up Sleep.

Cerulean Coast · Stone Coffin Fissure – From Fissure Cross walk northwest to the fallen rubble of the tilted tomb and climb down to the ledges below it. A short cave lies ahead, with Stone Slimes on its ceiling that drop as you reach for the sword: kill them, then take it from the far end.

Cerulean Coast · Stone Coffin Fissure – Go on through the cave, past a Gravebird, and drop onto the first stone coffin. Cross the coffin bridges northeast: kill each laser-firing Stone Worm before the rest, and set off the stone piles from a distance, as they explode. The grace shows below when you drop off the last ledge.

Cerulean Coast · Stone Coffin Fissure – Run northeast up the slope, ignoring the slimes that fall on you, and kill the bomb-throwing skeletons, then the archers above. Past the Giant Stone Slime go through the left passage, as the right one loops back: the Crusader's spirit comes at you there.

Thiollier as a summon

If you have spoken to Thiollier at Pillar Path Cross since entering the Church District, and rested, he has gone south and his gold sign lies in the arena, a little to the right of where you land. Summoning him is optional. Never send him south before you hold Thiollier's Concoction: he can't make it once he leaves.

About this guide

Expect about 230 hours over three runs, in a game where bosses take practice. This route uses no save backups. Run 1 collects everything in the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree, and takes about 170 of those hours. NG+ (about 40) and NG++ (about 20) are shorter runs for the other two endings and the other quest branches, with tougher enemies and some bosses to beat again for remembrance trades. Random drops and free-choice NPC kills never count toward 100%.
