Joel and Tess chase Robert from the market through a warehouse and the docks, then Marlene leads the way to the end of the chapter. Ammo is short here, so strangle guards one at a time rather than shoot. A pickup missed on this stretch can be collected after the credits with Chapter Select.

The Quarantine Zone · The Slums – From the yard, go into the building where Tess waits, which opens on the market. Follow her through the stalls and the bus into a small open area. She turns right here, but go straight on for the next two rows first.

Beat Robert's two guards, drop through the fenceQuest step
Location
The Quarantine Zone · The Slums – Find the man standing in a doorway and speak to him for news of Robert. Then follow Tess until the two guards appear. Crouch round to the left, and when Tess opens fire, strangle one and hit the other while he is distracted, then loot both for ammo. Follow Tess through the alleys and drop through the hole in the fence.

Warehouse: key and office guardQuest step
Location
The Quarantine Zone · The Slums – Strangle the guard walking away past the fence, then wait at the window until the two inside stop talking. Jump in, strangle the nearer one while Tess takes the other, and loot them for the Warehouse Key. Clear the next area and the floor above one guard at a time, staying off bottles and away from the railing, and strangle the guard at the office when he turns to the wall.

Location
The Quarantine Zone · The Slums – From the office, take the left path to the shiv on a desk: taking it teaches the recipe, so craft one as soon as you hold the materials. Strangle the guard left on this floor and go downstairs for the last one. Then pull down the chain on the Garage Door in the corner.

Clear the Shipment Area and HangarQuest step
Location
The Quarantine Zone · The Slums – Joel drops into cover at the docks. Crouch left through the containers and strangle the guard walking away, use the container on the left of the Hangar to take the two inside one at a time, and finish the guard at the railing outside. The way on is the office on the left side of the Hangar, but take the next two rows first.

The Quarantine Zone · The Cargo – Once the scene ends, follow Marlene along the alley, climb the Fire Escape ladder and drop through the window. Help her force the door she can't open alone.

Clear the soldiers by the bridgeQuest step
Location
The Quarantine Zone · The Cargo – Go outside and up the stairs, climb in by the window and strangle the guard in the doorway while Marlene takes the one opposite. Jump through the window in the corridor's end room and strangle the guard by the crates. Let the far guard go down the stairs, then take the guard at the crates and the one out in the open, and kill any soldier left near the bridge.

After the credits, Chapter Select clears anything its menu shows as short, but take the Workbench Tools on the first run: the menu doesn't show them, and one taken on a replay may not count.
