What the Extras menu sells and the modes outside the walk. None of it counts towards 100%.

This appendix covers what the game offers beyond the walk. Nothing here moves your percentage, and no trophy needs any of it, so take only what you want. Prices are in points, shown as P.

Bonus: Points and the Extras shopOther
Location
Main menu · Extras – Open Extras from the main menu to see what's on offer. Points come from playing chapters, beating the game, beating it on higher difficulties and finding collectibles. Concept art and models can be bought during the story, while skins, filters and modifiers open once you've beaten the game.
Summary
Points are what the Extras menu spends, and playing earns them.

Bonus: Gameplay modifiersOther
Location
Main menu · Extras – Beat the game, then buy them with points in Extras. Trophies still unlock with a modifier on, and modifiers work in Left Behind too.

Bonus: PermadeathOther
Location
Main menu · New Game – Switch it on when you start a new game; there's nothing to unlock. It comes in three scopes: Whole Game, Per Act (about 2 to 3 hours) and Per Chapter (about 30 to 60 minutes). Manual saves are off, and quitting in danger counts as dying.
Summary
A setting where dying ends the run.

Bonus: Speedrun ModeOther
Location
Main menu · New Game – It opens once you've finished the main game on any difficulty, and Left Behind isn't needed. Switch it on when you start a new game, New Game+ included: a run under way or a chapter or encounter selection can't use it. The timer stops for cinematics and scene transitions, and your times are kept in Extras under Speedrun Recap.
Summary
A timed run with its own records.

About this guide

One run of the story and one of Left Behind, on any difficulty: no trophy depends on it. The story is one way, so take each pickup before you move on. After the credits, Chapter Select clears anything its menu shows as short, but take the Workbench Tools on the first run: the menu doesn't show them, and one taken on a replay may not count.
