The streets from the Hotel to the bridge: hunters on every block, then a night run through their gate.

This stretch runs from the street outside the Hotel to the bridge. It holds two shiv doors, so carry a whole shiv to each, and one workbench. Near the end comes Lights Out, which fails if anyone spots you, so read its row before you go down to the gate. A missed pickup can be collected after the credits with Chapter Select.

Clear the first streetQuest step

Pittsburgh · Financial District – Keep behind the low walls and vehicles and work over to the Rivers Cafe. Go up its stairs and out on to the EXIT balcony, kill the sniper there and shoot the hunters below, checking the room on your left for any creeping up. Even a quiet start ends in a forced fight, and a short scene plays once they're all down.

Location

Pittsburgh · Financial District – At the far left of the street, raise the metal shutter. Pull the cart that props it open over to the broken window, then climb through with Ellie.

Sneak into the corner building on the right by its left entrance, under the sign, and go upstairs. Strangle the hunter nearest the stairs while the others look away, then the one by the edge, then the one on the left.

Location
Pittsburgh · Financial District – Go back down to the Book Store, carry on past the tripwire and take cover behind the concrete wall by the tank. Strangle the nearest guard when he comes back to the tank's left side, then shoot the other three from a distance, aiming for the head.

Pittsburgh · Financial District – Head down the alley and cross the road under the turret, using the broken-down vehicles for cover, to the Refund Quick Store. Leave it by the alley on the left and kill the two hunters there. Then enter the building, go upstairs through the offices and out on to the fire escape.

Location
Pittsburgh · Escape the City – Go outside and stay crouched. Work clockwise behind the barriers (keeping right also works), moving only when the searchlight swings away, and let the roaming hunter walk off or kill him silently. Turn off the generator by the gate, on its left under the searchlight. If anyone spots you before or while you use it, the trophy fails: restart the checkpoint and try again, or, after the credits, replay the sub-chapter from Chapter Select.

When the ladder breaks, lift the metal shutter with Ellie and go through the garage into the bar, where hunters come in: strangle them one at a time. Clear the next room with a thrown bottle and a Nail Bomb or the shotgun, move the cart at the door and walk to the end of the road, which ends the chapter.

About this guide

One run of the story and one of Left Behind, on any difficulty: no trophy depends on it. The story is one way, so take each pickup before you move on. After the credits, Chapter Select clears anything its menu shows as short, but take the Workbench Tools on the first run: the menu doesn't show them, and one taken on a replay may not count.
