Prologue: Bracca

The tutorial on Bracca, which has nothing to collect, then the first stop aboard the Mantis.

Bracca is a linear tutorial of about 30 minutes: a climb through the Shipbreaking Yard, then a fight along a train, ending aboard the Mantis. There are no pickups and no Meditation Points. Cal never comes back, but nothing here can be missed: its 5 Databank entries add themselves. You start with nothing, and the story hands you Force Slow on the way. Two running trophies begin on the train.

Climb the Shipbreaking Yard with PraufQuest step
Location
Bracca · Shipbreaking Yard – Follow Prauf up the wreck from the first ledge. When his path gives way, slide down to the right, swing over on the rope, and carry on across the red-edged walls. Two levers on a hanging ledge pull Cal close enough to climb up and rejoin him.
Summary
The opening climb, which teaches jumping, ropes, slides and climbing walls.

Force SlowSkill
Location
Bracca · Shipbreaking Yard – After the talk at the top, Cal slides down the ship: steer round the wreckage. When he ends up dangling from the wires, use Force Slow at the prompt to save Prauf.
Summary
Cal's first Force power, which slows a target for a moment. It gets you past fans and other moving obstacles for the rest of the game.

Back At YouHidden spoiler – activate to revealAchievementMinor spoiler
Location
Bracca · Train – It starts with the first Stormtroopers on the train. Tap block just before a bolt arrives, rather than holding it, and a reflected bolt kills a Stormtrooper outright. To finish it off later, reflect at the five Stormtroopers just past the Imperial Refinery Meditation Point on Kashyyyk, and rest to bring them back.
Summary
Kill 50 enemies by sending their blaster bolts back at them. The count runs through the whole game, so tick this when it pops.

Location
Bracca · Train – Tap block just as a melee attack lands. To bank a few early, keep parrying the Scout Troopers with electric batons on the train, and hold off hitting back.
Summary
Parry 100 enemies. Parrying is central to every fight, so the count climbs by itself all game; tick this when it pops.

Fight along the trainQuest step
Location
Bracca · Train – Walk through the dream carriages until Cal wakes; the inspection ends with him thrown onto a passing train. Second Sister (Bracca duel)Boss
Location
Bracca · Train – The duel starts where the slide ends. Dodge when she glows red, because those attacks can't be blocked, and get a hit or two in after each dodge. It ends after enough time or when Cal's health runs out, and either way the story moves on.
Summary
Your first duel, and the lesson on red attacks. She can't be beaten here, so you only have to last.

Survive the Second Sister and reach the MantisQuest step
Location
Bracca · Train – There is nothing left to do: when the duel ends, a cutscene takes Cal away in the ship, and he wakes up aboard the Mantis.
Summary
The Mantis arrives and carries Cal off. Bracca is gone for good, and nothing is lost with it.

The Mantis is your base

The ship has the Holotable for choosing a planet, a Meditation Point, a Workbench for your lightsaber and the Terrarium for seeds. The holomap can't be opened aboard.

Play the guitar on the MantisQuest step
Location
Mantis · Stinger Mantis – Walk to the main area of the ship and use the guitar. Look round the ship first if you like: the scene ends with the Mantis on Bogano.

About this guide

One playthrough on any difficulty: no trophy depends on it. The world stays open after the credits, apart from the prologue and two story locations, so the only things a player can lose are a few optional Databank entries, each flagged before its point of no return.
